Standard vs. Custom Leashes: What's the difference?
At High Tail Hikes, we pride ourselves on offering a variety of options for our customers - from leash color, width, length, and hardware type, to custom options such as Two Tone leashes, built in traffic handles, and custom handle options!
That said, we know that at times it can be hard to make your selection from all the options. In order to simplify things, we now offer both a Standard Leash and Custom Leash Collection - same great quality, but with some key differences!
Today, we're breaking down the difference between these two offerings so you can find the perfect leash for you and your dog!
When you head to our leash collection, you'll see we offer two leash types: Standard and Custom. All of our leashes and long lines - whether they're Standard or Custom - are made of genuine BioThane. That means all of our dog leashes are waterproof, odor proof, antimicrobial, and easy to clean. They're all handmade to order with love at our studio in Oakland, California!
Our Standard Leash is just that - a leash with a loop handle! If you don't need custom add ons, if you need your leash quickly, or if you want to be able to check out the leash in person first and return it free of charge if it's not quite right, our Standard Leashes are probably the right choice for you. They're a great option for gifting as well.
With our Standard Leash products, you simply choose your preferred width, length, color, and add to cart! Standard leashes come with a loop handle.
The best part? Standard leashes ship within 3-5 business days.
But! If you want your dream leash, a Custom Leash might be the answer!
With a Custom Leash you have multiple add on options, including:
- A Built in Traffic Handle at your desired placement above the snap
- Custom handle options (such as no handle, convertible handle, standard loop handle with D ring and/or O ring)
- More length and color options, and a Two Tone color option
