High Tail Hikes was founded in 2015 in Oakland, California as a dog walking and pet care company, specializing in off-leash group trail hikes. After discovering biothane in 2017, we began making our own biothane leashes for our packs, and then for fellow dog professionals. In the Spring of 2020, we opened our online store selling biothane leashes, long lines, and collars to the general public. We proudly make all of our products by hand in our studio in west Oakland, California. Our goal is to enhance the lives of dogs and their humans through both our services and the products we make. We proudly use, and advocate for, positive reinforcement based training methods.
