Liz Williams - Owner
Liz has worked as a wildlife biologist, environmental educator, and elementary school teacher. Liz has a B.A. in Geography and an M.S. in Environmental Studies, as well as a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Liz graduated from the DogBiz Dog Walking Academy, an intensive 4-day course in dog behaviour, safety, and group management. Liz also completed the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Foundations course and regularly participates in webinars, training seminars, and other professional development opportunities. When she is not out hiking with dogs or making leashes, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband, young son, and corgi mix dog.
Jarlaen Muñoz - Lead Dog Walker
Jarlaen is a Bay Area native who has always had a strong love for animals. Jarlaen has been working with animals for over eight years, including over five years of experience taking dogs on off-leash excursions and managing groups of dogs using only positive reinforcement based handling techniques. Jarlaen aspires to treat every single animal she meets as her own, and works every day to develop a deep bond with each individual dog. Jarlaen has several animals of her own, including two rescue dogs and two hairless Sphinx cats! Jarlaen also takes most of the amazing dog photos you see on our Instagram feed.
Cory Abshear - Production Manager
Cory heads up leash production and inventory management! Cory has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years, moving here to obtain her BA in English Literature from UC Berkeley. After spending many years in the service industry, she found her real love when volunteering with rescue dogs. After meeting many wonderful like-minded people, Cory found her way in the positive reinforcement community. She is a Certified Trainer and Behaviour Consultant and a private dog walker specializing in shy babies with big feelings about the world. Cory strives to provide all the dogs she meets with respect and love. When not making leashes, volunteering at the East Bay SPCA, or happily being the cheese giving Auntie to her clients, Cory enjoys reading Science Fiction novels to her cats and exploring outdoors.
Amanda Niello - Wholesale and Fulfillment Specialist
Amanda is a Bay Area native and grew up surrounded by animals - from chickens to bunnies to pet mice, she feels most at peace when there’s an animal nearby. She has lived in Oakland for 6 years and has two scruffy rescue dogs, Ishmael and Moby Dick.
Amanda loves hanging with her family, running around on the beach with her pups, and spending as much time in Lake Tahoe as possible. She also loves making HTH products and seeing photos of pets on Instagram sporting their new accessories!
