I love my dog's new sport leash! The carabiner clip is easy to use, and I can walk him without worrying if he'll snap the leash clip (cause that totally hasn't happened with other leashes...)
The traffic handle at 6ft makes it easy to keep him close if need be, but I'll never go back to less than 12 ft for his neighborhood walks. We're both so much happier. The bonus is that we've gotten noticed in the neighborhood more; I think his spiffy new leash takes all the credit 😉

It was a very nice leash. But, sadly when I left my pup tethered for a minute he somehow managed to tear/rip it into two pieces.

We are loving our 20 ft sport leash. The auto-lock carabiner is very secure and gives us extra peace of mind when we are out and about. The biothane has a great texture, it is easy to keep a grip on and tie with if needed but still super easy to clean off and never gets caught up on itself. Our dog has been dragging this thing through grass, redwood duff, sand, gravel, and more but you’d never guess it’s taken such a beating. There’s not a mark to be found on it, unlike our old flat nylon long line that is now lined with frays. And for the outdoors folks, the poppy color is a perfect blaze orange, highly visible! We will definitely be picking up more Hightail Hikes products moving forward.

I bought this because the basic (nylon) long lead I bought broke and my dog ran off- luckily our recall is significantly better now! I did a lot of research and found out that biothane is really durable and boy is it! My girl is an APBT and pulls if she's found a scent she really wants. I love for her to have more freedom on our hikes, so I invested in a biothane long lead.
This leash is adjustable so I can put it around me and it becomes hands free. It's durable- literally was wrapped around a log with my girl pulling and there's no stretch in the leash! It also has sport clips that are definitely not coming undone anytime soon!
If you have a strong dog, I highly recommend the sport clip. If you want a leash that is easy to clean and durable enough to withstand a strong pulling force, get this leash!

My dog and I absolutely love our long line. We go on daily sniffaris at the local park. It gives him the freedom to explore while keeping him safe. It is also great for working on recall when there are a lot of distractions. Can't wait until the weather warms up and we can use it for swimming in the local creek. No more gross, wet leashes, plus, this leash is easy on the hands.
