⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“Recently when I was walking my lovely but reactive dog the metal clasp on her leash (not from High Tail) snapped. Thankfully, my dog turned right around when called and was only loose for a matter of seconds. My first thought was I am ordering a safety strap from High Tail when I get home. I have used this safety strap ever since as back up and it has brought me such peace of mind. Hopefully we will never need it, but I am glad it's there if needed. I recently upgraded my leash and added a safety strap to my order. My girl, Mandy wears a harness but she is still learning not to pull so much. She is making progress but if she sees something of great interest (squirrel etc), she will jerk the leash very hard. I have always been concerned that if she doesn't rip my shoulder out of socket she might break the harness and be free to chase her furry friend. When I saw this safety strap I was so excited to add this to our tool box. Now I know she will be safely attached to her collar if the harness were to fail. This is a great addition to our Biothane leashes. I was able to get it in matching colors and I love the hardware.

This is a great little safety strap. I haven't tested it out yet as I live overseas and it took me a while to actually get my hands on it after ordering, but now I've seen it, the design looks very robust for a lightweight item. The carabiners are quick and easy to use and should be pretty well failure-proof (which is one of the great benefits of gear that has been derived from the climbing industry). I love the colour too!
