I had a 10 ft leash with handle previously purchased here that I really liked but wanted something longer that could be hands free. I used the two-tone simulator before choosing colors and the colors look exactly as I hoped. I love the versatility of the leash- the hands free option has been perfect for our daily walks and I love that I can change it to a handle if I wanted. Strongly recommend customizing a leash with the colors and versatility that you need!

All the cheap ones on Amazon are full of reviews showing them breaking or deteriorating and that really made me worried. I have now had three of these for nearly 2 years and all of them are in like new condition. I love that they do not absorb water, and they are extremely strong. I have my 50 pound American staffy and my 75 pound shepsky on 1/2” lines, and my Rottweiler husky on a 3/4”. I think nearly any dog could walk on the 1/2” lines. They’re amazing. I would recommend these to anyone. They may be the last leashes you ever have to buy. They are so worth the investment!!

The quality of Hightail Hikes products is just so incredibly superior to any other biothane product I have seen - and as a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant, I have seen a lot! I purchased one of these collars after another collar failed and my dog got loose. Quality of products is excellent. Received my 50 foot long line sooner than expected! A pleasant surprise. This was my second long line purchased (walk two dogs together). I had thought I ordered the contrasting handle, but it did not come that way. It is my fault for not reviewing the order more closely. Was ordering from my phone and website was a bit finicky on it.

I have other biothane leashes, and this one is super light. 1/2 inch is shockingly thin. I'm really glad I got 10ft..I chose this since most leash laws are 6ft and I wanted 6ft for her while it was a cross body.

The sport clips are tricky. I'm glad they auto lock once she is in...I think I'm glad. I might be less glad in 1 week because I do tend to change leash styles and attachments a lot mid walk. I've had carabiner styles unclip her while we were walking before and that seems highly unlikely given the twisty mechanism.

It does make it harder to unclip her [scissor snaps are easier] but I'm ok with that it means she's safe and secure.

I can't get over how light it is. Also I got black on black on black so..it's super sleek. The o ring holds at the waist [I wasn't expecting it to!]

If I get another, I'll probably get 3/4 inch just so I can attach some stuff to it [poop bag carrier]. It'll probably work now but the less is so narrow and light I'm not sure. Will play around it. I really like it

We are using this leash for nosework. It is light, flexible, which makes it easy to handle while searching, and easy to clean. The carabiner style clip is a nice addition. The two tone matches her collar and harness so she is extra sporty.

I got this collar for my girl to wear while traveling. It is light weight, flat, and easy to clean. The color looks great on her and the 2 tone option made it extra cute.

This is my second long line, but added the handles this time. Very high quality gear and the colors are beautiful! My girl LOVES the mud and muck and these leads are easy to clean. The long line keeper is a perfect add on too!

I've ordered 5 of these leashes, and they are high quality, fun colors, incredibly functional, various sizes and really can be customized to meet the needs of the human and dog.

Our small (14 lb) dog loves to play tug-a-war. She especially loved this toy for its durability and size. Of course, it didn't last forever, but it lasted for a few weeks, which is a lot given her enthusiasm for it.

This is a great little safety strap. I haven't tested it out yet as I live overseas and it took me a while to actually get my hands on it after ordering, but now I've seen it, the design looks very robust for a lightweight item. The carabiners are quick and easy to use and should be pretty well failure-proof (which is one of the great benefits of gear that has been derived from the climbing industry). I love the colour too!

I had been using a 6 foot High Tail Hikes leash for our daily walks through the neighborhood, which was great! I had my eye on the hands free leash for a while but was hesitant to spend the money when I had a perfectly good leash. I’ve been using the hands free leash for a month now and cannot believe I waited so long to purchase it! I LOVE IT! I got the 12 foot length, so when I have it secured around my waist my pup has several more feet of leash compared to the 6 foot leash and it makes a world of difference! I very rarely hold the leash at all on our walks but when I need to, the biothane is easy and comfortable to hold. Highly recommend this product and this shop!
